SJC2 fault affecting Vietnam

VOV reports that SJC2 developed a fault on 25 August 2026, at about the same time as AAE-1, reducing Vietnam's international internet capacity. No repair date has been given. Vietnamese providers are rerouting traffic over other cables and land routes.
