Planned closures are shown on incidents
When an operator announces a date a cable will be retired, the incident shows it and closes on that date, citing the announcement.
See where the world's cable repair and laying ships were last heard, with their speed, destination and the incidents they've been named on. Click a boat on the map for details. Positions come from coastal AIS receivers, so ships far out at sea go quiet for a while.
